Currently, the BIH is seeking a Technical Writer for a fixed-term contract until November 30, 2026. This role is within the Center for Digital Health, under the leadership of Prof. Roland Eils.
The center is at the forefront of translational and innovative health research, developing sophisticated AI, deep learning, and big data analytics algorithms for use in translational research.
The Technical Writer will be instrumental in expanding a German data competence center, with a particular emphasis on cloud competence training and technical documentation.
Responsibilities and Roles of Technical Writer at BIH:
– Conducting needs assessments and defining learning content domains
– Developing a structured training program for cloud-based data management technologies
– Establishing a sustainable process for the lifecycle of training materials
– Implementing best practice examples in cloud-based data management
– Setting up preconfigured learning environments specific to the domain
– Assisting in the creation of customized software stacks for data processing in cloud environments
– Engaging in networking at national and international levels
Qualifications for the Role of BIH Technical Writer:
