Mastermind Scholarship Belgium 2024
The Government of Flanders is now accepting applications for the 2024/2025 Master Mind Scholarships. This opportunity is open to international students from any country, with the application period closing on the specified deadline.
The scholarships, presented by the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training, are designed for students pursuing master’s degrees in Flanders and Brussels.

Master Mind Scholarships 2024/2025 – Who Can Apply?
This scholarship program is inclusive of all nationalities. Eligibility requires that the candidate’s preceding degree must have been awarded by an institution outside of Flanders. Even those international students who have participated in credit mobility programs at Flemish institutions are eligible to apply for a Master Mind Scholarship.
Candidates must be applying for a master’s degree program at a participating Flemish institution and should demonstrate excellent academic records or potential:
- Candidates should have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0.
- Proficiency in English is required, evidenced by:
- A minimum of 7.0 in IELTS
- At least 94 in TOEFL
- C1 level in the Common European Framework of Reference, or equivalent scores in recognized language tests. Online versions of IELTS and TOEFL tests are also acceptable.
Benefits of Master Mind Scholarships
The Master Mind Scholarship package includes a €10,000 grant and a tuition fee waiver for the academic year (equivalent to 60 ECTS). Scholarship recipients are required to pay only a nominal administrative enrollment fee. The grant, distributed in installments, contributes towards accommodation, insurances, and a substantial portion of living expenses.
